How Can You Add Chemistrie Sunlenses To Your Inventory?
Make them yourself. Use a lab partner. Or even ask us!
The point is, if you can see the many benefits and possibilities with Chemistrie Sunlenses, then there’s a way for you to provide them. For in-house manufacturing, we provide complete training and will guide you toward the equipment you need to control the production process (you may already have the equipment—see below!). Our many lab partners have all received this training, and are certified to manufacture and distribute the original Chemistrie Sunlenses product.
And if need be, you can even contact our in-house lab—the Eyenovate Z Lab—for new orders or special orders.
If you have an in-house laboratory at your location:
Not all equipment is capable of producing products in the Chemistrie Lens Layering System.

The Eyenovate Z-Lab
There’s a whole world of possibility with Chemistrie Sunlenses and the patent-pending Chemistrie Lens Layering System. Our lab is where it first happened, and where innovative work continues to this day.
The Eyenovate Z-Lab is a high-quality specialty lab for eyecare providers and optical laboratories that need highly technical laboratory work, including the manufacturing of Chemistrie Sunlenses. Fitted with a Santinelli ME-1000 edger, the Eyenovate Z-Lab can perform the following functions:
Design Cut to Any Shape
Design cut allows our lab to take any shape - a picture, a drawing or other shape representation - and create a lens to match it.
Partial Grooving
Partial grooving can be applied for design purposes and for improving the appearance of the rimless lens. By coloring the partial grooved area of the lens, the contour can be accentuated. In addition, the groove can be partially altered, making the groove in which the nylon cord sits less noticeable, while providing a better fit for the groove that rests against the frame.
Faceting
A highly fashionable facet processing can be applied to the lens outline, offering a new, high-value cadded attraction to the lens.
Small "B" Processing
Eyenovate Z-Lab can processes smaller lenses (minimum B size: flat 15mm bevel)
Profile Mounting: A profile mount countersinks rimless hardware into the front surface of the lens, providing a stronger mount, an easier-to-clean len and sleeker appearance
Traditional 3-Piece, rimless, or frameless eyewear are mounted by drilling a hole or two through the lens. The frame has a prong or post that passes through the lens, and is secured by a plastic bushing or screw from the back of the lens. This is problematic because the integrity of the glasses rests on this very weak point; posts often break off resulting in a scratched lens, or unwearable glasses.
Profile mounting is generally considered to be a stronger, more sturdy mount because the whole end-piece is secured by touching the lens from three sides, instead of just one as in traditional mounts. It can be done on any Santinelli Edger—the ME-1000, LEX, or AES, or any CnC drill with depth control.
While a clear benefit to Chemistrie Sunlenses (profile mounting enables the most seamless fit of the click-on lens to the primary lens)—the benefits of profile mounting apply to many types of lenses.
